Introducing Part two
Well after what seems a very quick nine months our baby has arrived
Born last Tuesday just after ten at night and weighing in at a whopping 9lbs 5 ounces introducing Shannon, Stephanie, Lilly, Marie
One of the biggest weeks in my life and Christina's too, our daughter was deliverd via an emargency cesarian section after 36 hours labour, she got so far but then wouldn't go any further, upsetting for her mother because she so wanted a natural birth, I have to say an awsome display of toughness by Christina who passed on the drugs/pain relief right until the very end, love you vey much well done.
A picture is often worth a thousand words and I have attched one for you all to see, don't worry the picture is purely for the pose and she sleeps in her own bed with no risk of me squashing her
One question I do have for the PF parents is.......how do you get them to sleep at night?
we are both cream crackered

nice one fella
c section means you'll have to waiting on her hand and foot for the next 6 odd weeks though
as for the sleeping, we found that running a hair drier made junior do a wee but turning the hoover on made him drowsey and sleepy soon followed
another tip that tends to work on some occasions is to stroke their temples down to the ends of their ears to soothe them, and make sure there is a bttle of milk or a busom on standby all the time, just in case all else fails
up to 8 nappies a day is also a good indication that everything is working well, you soon get used to the smell, just make sure you bag them up and bin them seperatly just to see how much crap they get through in a week
but even after all that, i bet you cried you big softie, and i bet your face is still aching from all the smiling
don't worry, i'm still boring peole about what unior does and he's just turned 2

Very, very cute mate, even cuter now I see you have a beard.
Seriously mate, she's gorgeous, I cannot begin to imagine how proud you are? Must be one of the most amazing feelings in the world.

You basically need to teach them night from day, and if you're strict then within 4-6 weeks having them sleeping well shouldn't be a problem. We had our number 2 sleeping through at 8 weeks, but the first few weeks are going to be relatively sleepless no matter what you do.
It's important that you don't do something (rocking etc) that makes them rely on that to get to sleep, otherwise you'll have a nightmare if you want to wean them off it.
It IS hard at first, but be consistent, and believe that, no matter how bad it seems, it WILL get easier if you have a routine.
And congrats! It's a life changing experience!

LOL she is 9 now and sleeps less.... work that out...
Congrats Jimmy
As for the nights.......
its all about keeping them awake in the day, feeding them on a routine basis, even when they are asleep in the day wake her up and feed her!!
may sound cruel but she'l soon adjust, i did that with both of mine and they slept through the night from 3 weeks old!!
last feed at 11.30- then the next feed at 7am...
If she wakes for a feed inbetween just give her a dummy, and walk away...
they scream and scream for the first few days (nights of doing it) but it works... trust me
