Logging out?????

Just a quicky everytime i log out from the site if i go to my mates a few hours later,when hes on the forum at his house it always sez im online when obviously i aint any ideas why this is???

with most forums you can set it to show ppl online for that day or for a few hours or even just for how long they are log'd in
