epic thread... i don't condone drugs myself either, but i'm not a mightyer than thou bloke and if you want to and its not hurting me then thats fine

Best thing to do is start swallowing lots of paracetamol every day up until the test morning then just have 2 that day until test.

I went through the same but got smashed at the weekend on stuff then was getting stoned each day until the tuesday and i had a test on the thursday and i passed apart from highish levels of paracetamol. They asked me why and i said i had a bad cold and had alot of aches and pain and used that to help and they said thats ok then just wanted to make sure you didnt have a habbit of swallowing loads of paracetamol

The worst test is the hair test as they can find drugs in your system up till 3 years ago!! A place i worked ended up highering guys from america due to the workforce getting stoned day and night and management found out and they went the full hog. Cost the company Ł200 per person for the tests but luckily i was leaving the place for said job above and didnt get tested

Dan, im guessing its a job of a Safety Critical Nature mate!?

we have random drink and drug tests, and if any incident happens at work then sometimes a department under 'mediscreen' can turn up unanounced and test everyone there and then.

for me mate it doesnt bother me, never touched anything under the 'drugs' banner nd im certainly no alcoholic

no it's not safety critical at all....it was just a pre-employment medical.... there is no random testing and the only time I can be tested again is if I cause or am involved in a major accident at work.

I'm just glad I got throught the pre employment test and got the job thats all...
