ive often worrried about if i went for a job with drugs tests ect
but the reality is drink is FAR worse than most drugs,,,,,, but taking drugs shows people who dont respect rules is the idea i belive
anyone ever see " rise of a foot soldier" , has the BEST example of pills and the REAL effects of it as a recreational drug
id rather enjoy life than have a job paying me good money but stopping my freedom

mate my work need me there at the moment,,,,,,, they would like the idea of beinging in drugs testing as my company is owned by a doctor,,,,,,,,, but hes MORE than aware good staff is hard to find

btw i would HAVE to pass on that sort of worry, as someone else stated before,,,,, what happens if you get another test later on,,,,,,,, getting sacked for failing a random drugs test aint gonna look good on the cv
when i get drunk i make some bad desisions,,,,,, even my missus who USED to be against drugs prefers me on them compared to drinking

oh one more thing, last time i gave up going out and other stuff relateted to it was when i had a kid, i HAD to give it all up then,,,,, so i got a car to keep my mnd busy,,,,,, wasted just as much cash on that,,,,,, but there was ALOT more stress involved hence ive never replaced it

I start tomorrow....
....downed one of them carbo drinks (Cost £30 form the link someone put up earlier in the thread) 1hr before I went in and all was well 
The piss test was only for liver and kidney disease and NOT drugs...so I was lucky tbh...although I reckon they do test for drugs from stories I've heard from my cousin who works there.
The saliva test can detect weed for upto 1week but the drink works with the saliva too so I might just get a spare and keep it in my draw just incase.
Cheers for all the advice guys and i'll probably knock it on the head if its going to cause me greif always wondering weither my jobs save over a spliff or two.

the bag of piss under the arm won't work, it will be the wrong temperature, if the testing is serious like it is in the armed forces, you have about 1° of variation either side or it will flag up a suspicious sample, and they will test you again there and then, then again in 6 hours time. Really, there is no way to avoid it unless you just stay off the drugs.

I've just been informed that I'm going to have to attend a medical assesment as I have a new job which is a 10k rise on what i'm on now.
Hence I'm shitting it about failing a test I have on FRI as I had a spliff last night before I knew of the test.
I'm going to try and delay the date by a week or so but has anyone got any advice on how to flush out or pass the test they do? My cousin works there and said they pissed him and swabbed his mouth
Help..don't wanna loose this opportunity due to a cheeky bifta.

just be truthfull with the tester and tell them that you went to a party the weekend before the test and there were peole there smoking joints which is why some small trace of it may show up in your system
or you can hope they don't find it

Just had my induction today and it states you are only tested if they have reasonable cause in future...so accidents...turning up pissed etc... there's no randon testing at all...guy reckons it costs too much to test randomly over 5000 employees.
