friday afternoon i did a deal with matt lewis (well done mate helped me out a huge ammount ) and i told my folks to expect a delivery monday and for them to be at home when it turned up

so what happens?

they both went out, independantly of each other, 5 mintues before the delivey turned up

and then didn't tell me until 5 oclock that someone had been and gone

what can you do eh?

i come from a culture where peole expect you to know where they are, whe they are going out, when they'll be back AND what you need to have got them without actually telling you any of these things

i live in my own house

my parents, through some sort of strange bit of dealing, also live in a house that belongs to me

i got to work

my wife goes to work

my wife drops junior off to my folks to look after during the day

my dad is retired (he retired at 49 so he's been doing bugger all for the best part of 20 years )

my mum works part time as a special needs childrens escort (so she works in the morning to chapperone the kids to school and in the evenings to chaparone them home)

the rest of the time they have absolutly bugger all to do other than complain and fight amongst each other

so it was logical that, seeing as there owuld be one of them home at any point of the day, to send the package there

unfortunatly, due to some ancient custom where no one actually tells anyone else what they are doing for fear of them finding out, my mum went out the front door and didn't tell my dad thinking that he wasn't going to go anywhere, and my dad went out into the garden gate and gone that way with junior to the park, thinking my mum would be at home to take the delivery

in the mean time the guy turned up about 5 minutes later when no one was at home and put a card through the door because no one answered

and i found out when i called at about 4 to ask if the delivery had been made or not as i was going to be back later than expected and i probabl ywouldn't be able to go back to the MOT station and get the test done on the handbrake in time after swapping it over when my dad said "ask your mum as i was out"

so the end reslut is:

parents = non comunicating twats

Littlebrownbike off this forum has met my parents, and has been there when they have put me in a situation you wouldn't put your worst enemy in. His dad who I get on very, very well with offered to let me live with them.

unfortunatly the works pc is stuffed due to IT needed to do stuff to the lines and other techy business so all i have is the internet to keep me company

and even then it's so slow that if iwere to load up multipule pages here they take about 5 minutes to load up and another 5 to post

Me and Gary where having a drink, I had been on the Vokda and Coke all night and I couldn't walk. My dad came in and told me he needed to be somewhere urgently, I told him I couldn't take him and explained why and he basicly told me I was fine. Then my mum came up calling me selfish and then my dad came back up and told me I should learn to look after my family. Then my brother phoned me, who was in my dads car as always and threatened me 'Take my dad before I crack you'. I once again refused and nobody spoke to me for around 3 days.

They have used and abused my car since I got it two years ago, I have a motabilty car because of my bad legs, and my dad is entitled to one aswel. My brother asked my dad to get him a car because he was in so much debt he couldn't afford insurance etc. He said he only wanted it at weekends, and my dad could have it during the week. It's a VW golf and my brother has put cream sports interior from an Audi in it and my dad doesn't even know, shows how much he goes in it.

On the other hand, I am always being asked to borrow my car, and everytime he damages it. Last time I took him off the insurance because of it and he stole my car key and ran up someones arse. I had to save like mad and live on nothing to pay for his car to be fixed, as if it had gone through the insurance I may of lost my car? When I asked my dad what happend all he kept saying was 'SHUT UP' like a retard.

In two years, my car has done nearly 50k Miles and I honestly believe I have done around 17k of them. Infact, right now I am waiting to go to the gym and he has taken it, I rang him over 1 hour ago to see where he was and he told me to get the bus, or sit quietly and patiently.

I was going for an Astra, and I am not getting a new car for another 7 months, I'm either getting the Astra or the new Focus. I can't decide?? Last time I ordered a 1.6 Ford focus 3door in Black with the sports kit. Then my dad who knows the Motabilty specialist stupidly well went up and changed the order to a 5 door and took off the Sports kit and changed the color to blue as his mate had it. It was proper nasty, and I know of people who wanted to literally kill my dad. But I made out I was happy with it. Then only a couple of days old he bent the wheel when he hit an island in the road.

So, Dojj, if you think you have it bad, believe me you don't.
