starts slow a couple of people even left but imo it was awesome its hard to watch due to the style of the camera work (anyone with motion sickness dont bother lol) but it works i luv the lack of end theme tune the style and the way it cuts about, the reality.. makes it a great film

I loved the movie, the start was soo slow and i wanted to leave, but when they went to the roof and started to run down the stairs the movie was awesome from there till it ended.
really took the blairwitch idea ten steps further.
this is truly a movie you need to watch at the cinema and not on a crappy downloaded version.

I am not sure that me feeling motion sick was missing the point? Admittedly I felt not brilliant before I went in, but it was actually hard work watching the thing.
A realise that this was deliberate - doesnt make it good.
As far as plot is concerned - It is a monster film plain and simple! And there is no clear answer to what it was - where it came from - and how it was (if it was) solved.
This was the area of plot that I was finding difficult

You kinda missed the point here, the movie is supposed to be a viewing of the tape found in "former central park".

It was a really good flick made all the better by the awesome sound system in the cinema I was in. Each footstep from the beast shook the floor of the cinema, most bass driven sound system I have heard at a cinema ever.

the movie is supposed to be open, what caused the liberty head to end up in the street, where the beast came from, and so on is not revealed.
cause its only a tape from a camera.
And if there had been a story of where it came from, how it ended after the tape had ran out and so on would ruin the great idea behind the movie.

well i was sick twice!!!
i saw it a few weeks back, my bf sat us bang in the middle. It gives like a simulator effect, and I cannot deal with simulators, I had to get the whole row up to go to the toilet, and my bf said that once i got up, everyone started to get up!!!!
it was an ok film but I couldn't enjoy it because i felt so ill all the way through

Is that single idea enough to compensate for the lack of explanation of several of the key points? I guess that this is subjective. It depends on what you look for in a movie. There is a fine line between an unanswered question that remains so to be clever, and those that remain unanswered simply becuase they couldnt think of the answer.

personal preference guys.... you all wont agree... i think it put across a good sence of fear and like you were actually with them..
i dont think it lived up to my expectations but... it was worth 90 mins of my time..
it was AN idea VERY WELL executed
