On a related note, that guy on Pistonheads that had a GTR imported, as he had a model report done doesn't that mean the floodgates are now open??

The graphics-
They ARE being done, the minute its back from the garage, already booked in with SJS.
New GTR-
Nobody has had a Model report done yet and none has been registered in the UK. The pistonheads reports on GTRs were bollocks, inc loads of made up stuff he didnt say.
There are 2 in the UK at mo, neither registered as yet (just being driven on trade plates
), and by a wierd fluke I know both owners, one is a mate (the white one), and one (black) is a mate of my best mate (who is also his 5-a-side footy boss ).
Ben reckons wont be too hard to get it thru, esp as it complies to current emissions regs etc, unlike most cars.

Nope, was made up shit, as was the prices they quoted and the warrentee thing, he was well pissed off.
Was also pissed off MaxPower nicked a load of the pics (and PH have used em too) from Rockingham where he took it for a test feature in Car, against the R8, new M3, and some Porsche.
The new GTR totally spanked em he said, but dunno the proper results.

I never understood why everyones spanks one off over PH TBH, just another online mag type thing, no proof that they good/bad/knowlegable, and get most the stories off the newspress website like everyone else.
It may not be deliberate cuntishness, most utter shite in magazines etc comes from the writer not having a fucking clue what they are talking about.
In writing, especially in the car world, there are a lot of people who blag their way through with writing skills alone and havent got a fucking clue what they are talking about, just write well enough that people believe the shit they talk.

i had a night like that with the g/f the other week,we were browsing mtv and twice we were talking about certain tunes and the came on shortly afterwards
