Anyone having issues signing into MSN at all?

Keeps telling me that my contact list is unavailable and to try again

Tried rebooting and still no joy, but strangely enough it loads fine with windows messenger but just not live messenger

Edited - Its doing it on both my laptop and main machine which are both running the same release of Live Messenger

 

There will be two copies of the contacts folder on your machine somewhere, you need to delete the empty one

Pain in the ass Live messenger sometimes

 

Where abouts would I find this?

 

c drive - Users - your username - Contacts

in there will be more than one folder titled with your msn address. Delete one of them - if one is empty make it that one! If both full just delete one of them

Still no joy

 

Mine is pissing me about, it won't log me in first time and says I'm not connected to the net, then second time round it works

Also my father in law keeps trying to e-mail me but it never comes through

 

Delete them all - uninstall live messenger then reinstall

 

I have the same problem....

Same here mate, but mine wont connect at all, i can see a 'hammer time' coming on!

 

Seems that MSN is cunted, a few people I have spoken to say they can't sign in or anything

Well if you've deleted all the contacts folders and reinstalled it it's deffo MSN thats cunted not you.

I'm signed in but to be honest loads of my contacts are offline which is unusual

 

Seen afew posts on other forums saying people cant get on, although mine seems to be fine!

 

Mines showing me offline when im on, even when i change it to "online"


It also keeps losing connection and kicking me out....



AND I havent got as many contacts as before as I normally do online, So they either blocked me, Or Its msn

 

That explains why I've not been able to get on today I thought it was my new pc

Msn seems to be having a spaz fit now...god forbid I have to go upstairs to talk to my housemate instead of im'ing her...may try a text instead

 

Yep mine is pissing around too can't get into my emails ffs, oh! well what do you expect for free
