Default Painting a 3dr....bodyshop people info required..

Hi guys,

I've managed to swindle some diamond white paint from a mate who's logistics manager at a paint company...but I need to know how many litres are required for a good paintjob inside & out on a 3dr (colour change).

Also would it be worth getting some filler primer or is it just a gimmick?

Any advice appreciated as I need to give him a paint code and ammount of what I want asap.

Cheers
Dan

depends on the present condition of the car

but id say buy 4 litres which would make 6 or 7 you would have some left but if your doing insides and all shuts etc you might not,

well the paints free and I want plenty incase I need to have pannels blown over etc.. in future....that way its from same paint batch so would be better match (assuming paint would last over time)

so 10 litres is plenty then

Cheers

When I had a complete new shell painted inside and out with all kit and closures the painter used 4.5 litres of diamond white
