Right i've seen a car for sale that im quite tempted by but i have a slight issue
I've gone to do an insurance quote and its coming up as a different model,
Same car etc just different model, Everything checks out ok on dvla and rac but not with insurance, I also looked on askmid and its a different model on there aswell but its different to the model my insurance company was coming up with
I was only going to get it as its a decent price then sell it on while im out of work but as im sure you can understand the information ive found is making me nervous
Any help would be gratefully recieved
The reg is W767PBO cheers, Grant

Right just phoned the guy he has 6 months finance left on the car,
My question is is he legally alowwed to sell the car to me with that outstanding finance??
He also didnt know about the mileage so he's not too happy and is checking all the paperwork now,
Can anyone give me a rough value of the car with what the hpi has brought up??
He's ringing me back in a few mins

the finance company are legally the owners of the car until the finance has been paid in full - if he sell the car to you, you are then responsible for the finance. (that's how it used to work anyway)
find out how much is remaining on the finance then make a decision from there.
