Anyone been to Jersey?
As above really, the missus keeps going on about us going on a holiday 
She's been to Jersey before and loved it, so whats it like? Where did you book your holiday, or any recommended hotels etc?
When is best to go, and when is cheapest to go?
What sort of stuff is there?
I fookin hate holidays

Fantastic place mate, me and my missus had our belated honeymoon there, and we soooooo wanna go back sometime, make sure you take lots of money - not because it's expensive quite the opposite it's so cheap for clothes etc, no VAT and they just don't (or didn't) charge mainland prices...
Beware the speed the tide comes in, seriously there is a beach the entire lentgh of the eastern side of the island, it goes out for miles, but comes in within about an hour... Fantastic surfing aswell.
We stayed in St Hellier but out on the fringe and everything in town was only a brief walk, don't hire a car for a week though, there are loads of places that hire them on a daily basis, and if your fit (it quite hilly) to be honest you can pretty much bike anywhere on the island.
Go mate, you'll love it.

To be fair it was quite a while ago now, but we flew out from Luton flights only with Jersey Air, and booked privately with a B&B, the whole Holiday cost us less then Ł500, (less spending money and car hire) obviously it'd be a bit more now with inflation, but it was very cheap in comparison to France or Spain etc.

went to jersey on a rugby tour we flew flybe dirt cheap and stayed at a reasonabley nice hotel on the beach obviously dirt cheap for a rugby tour. not very friendly with their alcohol though went world cup final weekend and struggled to find a nice friendly bar

For its size Jersey has loads of decent bars!
