A 'D' plate can go on any car that's 1986/7 or YOUNGER - you can therefore put it on a brand new car if you wanted, but not on an older car (than 1986/7) as then you'd be making it appear newer than it really is.

And how do you know its legit then?!?!?!?
Plate on the Skyline is currently B15 UFO actually now. Looks really good actually. I like it, suits the car alot as most people not into cars haven't got a clue what it is! E20 UFO is on Sierra too
You have to change things around sometimes in life you know... if you are not 100% happy with things... out with the old and in with the new and all that...
