I simply removed the fuse on my work van that had one as soon as i fancied skiving.

Nobody ever said a word, so presume it worked

Guess its gonna depend how well they fit it, but it was dead easy to trace the wires and find out what to pull on the one I experienced.

Ya fucked fella, we have got these on our HGV's at work, we call them the spy in the cab, its tells them, where you've been, what route you took, vehicle speed, fucking everything

Its not really like a speed restricter you can't pull the fuse

find out what company you are using, but the ones we've got fitted to ours lists possibly ever variation of stuff you could do

from speeding (so you send the points to the right driver) to harsh braking (you might break someithing in the back) to harsh acceleration (again, breakages) to diviating from route (because you might want to go somewhere else that morning) to going out of sequence (with the deliveries you are doing) to how late or early you are running and all sorts

you can't even pull the fure because they we are right on the phone and "driver tampering" has been known to happen and the telltale signs are so easy or driver negligance where the driver doesn't know what they are doing so the system flashes up errors

thing is, every time there is something different the warning flashes up over riding everything else on the computer screen so you need to deal with it before you can do anyting else
