Default help needed please with tools

as some of you might know from my other post, i think the head gasket has gone on my cozzy

i want to do a few tests before i put it in to be fixed,

ie
compression test and leak down test ( think thats what its called )
where would i get the tolls to do theses tests please??

Demon tweeks do the kit, but it may be better just giving it to a garage to do,only have to taken the spark plug out and screw a gauge in there then crank it over,the gauge measures the comp in there then, do each cylinder and compare the readings, job done.

Isnt a cylinder leakage test different from a compression test?

Where are you?

I have a Compression tester which has been very handy over the years, they don't cost much (like Ł20 I'd guess, been a LONG time since I bought it)

Anywhere near Somerset? Done a few leak down tests on my Cossie too, got the kit here.
