CVH tappets
Or hydrolic lifters. my sister has my old RS turbo cabby and the tappets are going like an 1950s type writer.
were is the best place to order them from, been lookingat burton power and the price of them seem to be ok and its a big name so shouldnt see any problems.
before they are fitted is it worth putting them in a pot of oil over night to fill up??

Nah pal, just make sure you coat them in oil when fitting them, make sure the cam lobes are still good and hold the car at 3000 rpm for a few minutes so they get plenty of oil

as above u need a new cam and lifters, fit them using the lube supplied then hold the revs at 3k for 5 mins to bed them in, if u fit new lifters to a old cam the cam will just wear them, the cvh cam and lifters are desgined to wear together over time so need to be replaced at the same time
hope this helps
