Default Rivet or Glue ????

Need to fit my S1 kit, thinking as its a track car, rivet it on like the GT2.....





And......Should i leave it white ?

as a track day car, if you could i would say riv nut it on so it can be taken off easy. if the whole kit is white it might look ok.

It would look fooking CACK if you rivited it on, and you'd probably crack it anyway. Cos both surfaces are not flat aswell it would "pull in" and be all bulgy and ill fitting, so your far better off glueing it on

I use TigerSeal. Proper fooking sticky – Wear gloves though or you'll have to sandpaper your hands to get the bastard stuff off

My overriders are stuck on with it, no screws, nuts, bolts or anything just Sikaflex.

Hope there not Sams arches

And spray it silver too IMHO

if i had been back at work u could have had some prc sealant.....is like tigerseal but stickier and strenghtens with age

Sikaflex is pretty much the same as all of the proper bonders. Quality stuff tho and will hold any kit on forever
