where can i get this type of hose..

the clear looking hose coming out the left of the intercooler. ive pm'd crazy cage (its his car) but thought id ask you lot too before i start trapsing round b&q etc. tommorow.

i have something very similar on my pond pumps, i take it, its platic with a steel helix running round it? if so try you local aquatics centre

Michael,

I think (hope) that hose is only to provide some additional cool air to the Radiator, the pressure hoses will be higher up and out of view....

It looks like cooling duct hose, and its available from demon thieves. Obviously you will pay a premium there...

looking at the right hand side of the intercooler, it looks like the end tank is made up from 2 sections, so i would guess that both the inlet and exit are both on the rh side

i knew i couldnt get a normal answer on passioncunt

ive just been to b&q and no luck. im gonna try my local motor trade centre as they do lorry parts and i might have more luck with that. if not maybe il try a garden centre

oh and the reason i need some of this hose is because im running a t3 but with a t2 inercooler (untill i get a front mount), so theres no such hose for this. i thought id try some of this flexi hose just for my running in miles seeing as i wont be boosting it.

and just so you all know, his car may not be the prettiest but runs around 260bhp on gotech managment

oh and i dont think hes actually using that hose for his intercooler as those coolers have the inlet and outlet on the same side. its just me that want to try using some of that pipe as boost hose

burton catologue arrived this morn but they dont have anything suitable. to be honest im just going for the cheapest option so i can get my engine running so dont really wanna splash out on silicone
