I went to top up the oil in my 911, was flapping and rushing and filled up the fucking power steering resevoir with mobil 1 the other night....

hows that?

aint seen in the boot of your car but i know what its like looking at a engine bay you aint got a clue about ( as i dont have a clue about any pmsl)

good news is your oil was low,,, and NOT the power steering fluid as that would have be alot worse in reverse

 

It happened as I was rushing and not paying attention...

I'd MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH rather replace ANY part of the steering than buy a new engine thanks!!! check out the price of a new engine from Porsche.... OUCH!!!!

 

I take it the oil level is now ok.

 

yeah, probably had a nice top up of ATF

 

i agree, much better to have 10w40 in the power steering than atf,,, or general power steering fluid in a porsche engine pmsl
