You only need a 4mm hole, drill it from the back, rest it on a piece of wood and dont push hard, let the drill do the work

Beat to it
If not sure any time, or want to trial and error it, just practice on old plate.

Here here, some double sided tape and jobs a goodun.

I used velcro on my old car, changed between a small, illegal plate, and a normal sized legal plate when the copshop insisted.

M coupe Front bumpers are too curved to really accept sticky pads.

If you drill them, use the old plate on top (both face down) and drill gently with the old plate as a template.

deffo drill them m8, the double sided tape will pull the two layers of plastic on the plate apart and in time will allow water behind and it will look shite, plus it can fall off. unless u dont use it in the wet

I've always used those sticky pads you get from Halfords, and they've never damaged the plate, nor come off. I always think that drilling the plates looks messy, but appreciate that the curvature of the bumper may necessitate them..

Dan

What he said I always use these pads too, they are very tacky meaning sticky and much less fucking about with the drill
