interesting???? i was trying to sell my totally rust free and restored to grp4 spec mk1 2 dr before xmas and no one wanted to know!!!!!!!! steel bubble arched, caged, and round turreted with bigger gearbox and diff tunnels fitted now sand blasted and in primer with stg3 330 cozy running gear for 7k!!! no one was interested!!!

tell me about it!! bought mine as a rs2000 rep, had all the right bits but was not an original shell so took them off and bay,d them!!! ended up replacing the front and rear panels, both door posts, complete new floor, bigger box and diff tunnels, steel bubble arching, andround turrets!!! oh and welded back the cage to meet and link the turrets!!!! i paid a grand for mine without any running gear but sold original wheels and wings and wood pack last year for 500!!

Even if you dont do anything with it yourself bung it on ebay and probably double your money as Mk1 and Mk2 2 door shells are as rare as rocking horse shit these days and sell for crazy money if you have a decent solid one.
