a series 2 with GRS intercooler? its at 15psi at the minute, could i get away with a wee bit more? Oh as the car has a piper 285t2 cam, will the cam be better suited as its designed to be used with higher boost?

cheers,

paul

What Gareth means is that if you up the boost, you need to make sure the fuelling can cope, else it will run lean and could melt something - it's not really wise to up the boost and 'see if it's okay' ....... it will have been setup for the boost it's currently running.

If the tuner has set it at that point it means that is the most boost they are prepared to run on your engine. You may be able to eek a little more out of it but it could all end in (expensive) tears

Chat to some tuners and see what they suggest to give you that extra hit

mines similar spec running 18psi through proper fucked standard turbo

by fucked i mean play in and out and up and down and round and round. Any movement possible it does it

Still flys tho

NMS setup too

Get a proper tuner to check it out first to make sure it doesnt go BANG

The tuner has set it up to be very safe. I've been told by a few people that running like 17-18psi will be fine. Just wanted to check first.

Should be ok as mine is running 18psi but dont just up it yourself, pay out for a tune up and get it done by a pro
