They will normally do you a deal on there advertised price & are normally running special offers on certain cars etc...

 

Not true at all in my experience....

I would have thought they don't actually take the Ł5000 deposit from you but instead just register a charge against your credit card for that amount, so they don't actually have the money but can claim it if they need to....

Thats a semi-informed guess though as the only experience I have of this sort of thing though is when I hired an Audi tt convertible for a couple of weeks to drive around Italy and France; not hired anything in this country of supercar calibre

Alot of the companys do NOT own the cars... they are just brokers. So its best just to talk to the guys who actually own them if you ever want to hire them again.
