Hi,


What is the going rate for a 'NEW' proper baffle and gates unit for a 4wd cossie?


This is the one i fitted in my Fiecos.

think i paid £275 for mine that was baffeld, gated and big winged

it would not have a gated try like in my pic, that would cost more than £300 on its own.

might have paid more then as its deff gated as i was told i would need a gated sump if i wanted to run slicks on track to be safe

Best thing Dan is Drop Martin a PM and ask him what i have im sure i have the above as i got the big wing from Harvey he sent it to Martin and martin done the gated baffeld bit for me and fitted it to the car

I have nearly the same one, it is a Mountune one but you won't belive the price I paid for it. Will take picture tomorrow.

i was told it was off a WRC car, i got it thro IES race engines years ago.


But i'm thinking of making a batch up, if theirs enough intrest. thats why i asked.

Martin sold the last one he had for £275 to Ben, which he fitted into one of my big wing sumps.

Not sure, matters on the numbers really.


Thats why i posted, as if someone's making them, and selling them for less than a fair wage, i won't bother.

I've never sold one, as Mountune used to do them (they only list the Grp N ones now), but I think they have now discontinued them, so you should be able to sell them okay for £275?

i was thinking about £300-£325 if done in 3-5 at a time,

could be cheaper,
as if i did start making them, and once i have a system and a jig, the labour time will decrease.

that is AWESOME.. I may have to get you to take the baffle out to copy

Perhaps my baffle is for a speedway race car? Reason why I say that is that the gates are not 'centred'. See what I mean:
