Default 4x4 conversion

Ive got a mk5 escort that im thinkin of converting to 4x4,firsty is it worth it and secondly how hard would it be to transfere rs2000 4x4 running gear from one to the other??? The engine is a s2 with efi conversion.May do it in the summer if its worth it.

not worth doing

easier to buy a 4x4 car to start with and then put mroe bits onto it

also apparently the drivetrain is a bit feeble so it won't take more than about 200 brake

all "allegedly" but seeing as the 4wd versions hold their vaule well for parts alone it won't be worth messing about with one in the first palce

buy a sierra 4x4 and drop a 24V lump in the front for nice easy cheap as chips 200 horse
