Been without it for a week, and I'm starting to feel good. Next step loose the beer belly! I find it hard to get to sleep though!

Thats a bit much mark i would say mate, my dads the very same and he wants to cut down now as my mums giving him major grief about his beer belly , the beers the killer with calories etc too
I drink maybe a vodka or two or three every odd night or when footys on and a usually have a good drink on saturdays.

you do drink too much from a saftey point of view
but if you aint stressed it aint a big deal
i used to go pub every night but tuesday and have 6 beers and friday/saturday i would have,,,,,, well alot more
i cant seem to drink indoors though,,,,, ive got 11 stellas in the fridge from new years,,,,, drank one of the 12 i bought for it and never even finished it
though i will be out tommorow from 7ish till about 4,,,,,, i recon i will manage a few beers then

im ashamed to even admit how much iv been drinking each nite for the fast few months altho i have quit since new years eve b4 on average i was on at least 12 cans of stella a nite

I drink about once every few months, but will drink a stupid amount.

i will admit i drink too much, maybe not as much per week as some people on here, but i will go out 3-4 times a month (which as previously said is worse for the body) and drink maybe 4-5 pints of lager, a couple of pitches of vodka redbull and countless shots of whatever looks tempting at the time, then a double brandy, i very rarely drink indoors, maybe one can watching tv every now and again. i decided that this year though i am not going to drink as much, just as it seems a waste of moeny and i need it for rallying.
infact i have just got back from the local now, 2 pints of cider and a laugh with a few mates, spent Ł5.10, not a bad night, a good nights sleep, and out first thing to pick up car bits. can't argue at that.

Dunno how true it is but I have been told that the safe drinking limits set by the goverment also take into account accidents by being too pissed, such as falling down holes, getting run over, fights, stabbings and wearing batman type outfits and climbing scaffoldings to fetch birds balloons etc.
So perhaps not a true reflection on liver/health etc.
Then again somebody like me will always find a way to justify heavy drinking and sidestep the rules! LOL!
