where in here is there technical information presented by someone as fact that has been used to give advice to someone that could result in damage to their car or engine etc?

If thats happened, Ive certianly not seen it in between all the dummy spitting by Stav, even the nonsense he posted about comparing times from rallys 6 years apart doesnt fit that description even vaguely, its wrong IMHO but its totally harmless.

Ive not posted anything inaccurate in the whole thread.

Ive given some feedback on what I saw happen in rallying that may not have been representative of some stuff I didnt see and havent in anyway contested when you mentioned it, thats not even vaguely the same as "proven fiction" or any of the other things you are continually accusing me of with utterly no basis for your argument whatsoever.

Not once have you said that the thing about the FMIC and being uncompetitive in GrpN is wrong, same as you saying they were only good in cold rallies, when it was the hot rallies they won.
The bit about the GrB vs GrpA its fair enough as that cant be proved either way, but the rest of it, well...

The term "I suspect" that I used is about as explicitly stating that something is an educated guess / opinion / belief as its possible for anyone to do so on an internet forum.
You completely and totally missed the fact I had done that, and as your entire argument for the last 4 pages seems to be based on your incorrect assumption, you seem to be still unable to see it, despite the fact that its even there clear as day in lots of things you have repeatedly quoted.

You cant see that, I can, another 3 or 4 pages isnt going to stop me being able to scroll back and clearly read what I put as obviously not claiming to be an expert or prestented as fact, and it would appear its also not going to equip you with enough rational thought for you to be able to do the same as I can.

The one where I (and garetht and garage19 and everyone else who knows the first thing about engines) said that there was more to losting 50bhp than just the temperature of the fuel, Euan said there wasnt, then alan from ava (IIRC) came on and said that yes there were other factors and we were correct?

If people speak to me or about something that interests me then I reply either out of politeness or interest normally, I fail to see how thats any different to what you are doing really or why it would interest you?

As for "won" I dont actually know what it is Stav is trying to achieve so I cant comment on wether there has been some form of winner or not, Im certainly not attempting to "win" anything, I just keep popping back mainly out of morbid curiosity to see if he will ever realise that my very first posts were actually constructed in EXACTLY the way he has spent now 4 pages telling me they should have been (ie as an opinion)

Stav said I was LIEING, not that I was mistaken about the rally scene as a whole, Im quite happy to admit that they did better than my limited experience of watching rallying at the time lead me to believe, I havent at any point in this thread argued against that, all Ive argued is that my comment were based on what I saw, and were accurate to that limited experience.
I wasnt lieing, as I was accurately portraying what I recall seeing at the time.
I couldnt care less if my experience of watching pulsars at the time was representive of the whole scene or not, but I could care less about being called a Liar when im not.

So im NOT claiming (like people are saying I am) that what I said was accurate or "right" about the rally scene as a whole, it represents what I recall seeing and was accurately labelled as such right from that very post that you have just qouted.

You could argue that the bit you saw was brilliant but that you cant comment beyond that if you wish, and in doing so you wouldnt be doing anything justified people calling you a liar, they may feel that your experience wasnt representative of course, and they would be right to do so, but if they called you a liar they would be doing you a great injustice.


I think anyone posting in this thread after so long looks like a muppet TBH, I dont care about that one way or the other, I just dont like people stating or implying that I am a liar when Im not.
