Steve Scott quoted me £3000 for a shell prepped to the same level as his. I was very very close to doing a focos

that is funny, i emailed steve, we chatted over email, he called me a few days later we discussed what i wanted ( not road but pukka rally spec 8.5" front,9" rear, FFD box etc) he said he would get a price and call me back, that was 6 months ago at least, so guess who is doing my bodyshell prep ?

so, what power?
Std engine, T34.48, maybe a BD14 inlet if you can be arsed pocketing the pistons, Black injectors ( webber x038's I think, MSD sells them) , 500 cooler and an MSD live map, you have as near as makes no diffence a better than standard drive and a reliable 400/400 BHP/Lbs-ft engine
on a .48 that sounds a bit wrong a .63 on a t34 would just about do that with turbo killing spike but i might be wrong but the most ive seen a t34.48 do on modern piss fuel in around 350
My mates 3 door made 373.5hp @ TOTD shootout a few months ago on a .48, they only ran it in 3rd too which with the 3.91 gearing doesn't make the boost it does on the road, probably nearer 400 which makes us think it may be a .55 as its a SCS engine

I was looking into it seriously 2 years ago, I will see if I can find the thread ... I was 95% going to do it instead of doing my shagged old saff I had bought loads and loads of parts for, but decided it was too much hassle and I would end up going stupid with it, so canned the idea. ... Andy G wasn't widley known at the time, so Scotty was the only one I knew of who really had the experience. Price at the time seemed ok for the amount of work involved, and dont forget foci were a bit more £££ then. Seeing the quality of AG's work on his car I can't see it going wrong

Get some pics up Mark it sounds like an awsome project ... The next thing I am having ( after a house) is a bike or an Ultima GTR, can't beat either for bang for buck

seriously now, certain mortgage advisors i use can get a mortgage FOR THEMSELVES with only 5% deposit on a house i unfortunatley am not on that level yet but all in good time.

carlo please pm me a price

And what else do you really need of a saph apart from the engine and maybe gearbox.
better use a tremec box or something, 200sx back end/suspension, aftermarket adjustable stuff are cheap and seeing as the builder would be starting with different suspension mounts it will be just as easy.
and

to much politics tbh mate, very grey areas on the rules book with that and the people who make the rules having no balls to say yes you can or no you cant - basically they say bulkhead mods are a no no, some days, then other days its ok - i cant risk it for the money i would have put into the shell, a bit differant to a trackday shell.
