I did notice the Mondeo bit too, and I bet Martin's would do well around a track against the super cars too.

 

I think he's talking about the kind of guys that get their diesels chipped and think, yeah, I've got 400 lb/ft and can beat anything. Bet he gets everyone coming up to him saying this that and the other. More bullshit than on here DVD is poor IMO, just top gear outtakes to me.

I put it on last night and actually had that conversation with my missus. Didn't Mr hadland actually beat the cars with his Mondeo though? Seem to remember Fart Car being there.

 

The dvd is top. Goto the extras section and then "more car less music" for the entire dvd without the music over the car noise

Also the "scratch" on the Porche Not the first time Clarkson has binned a car on one of his DVD's - remember the RS200

My dad thought his rover V8 powered xr4i was fast, until he went in my stage one cos, his is a tuned 4 litre cross bolt but no comparison to cossie.
Mind you I wouldn't mind the low speed torque of the rover lump!!

Agree there, but even more so I'd just say everyone who drives a turbo diesel these days seems to think they've got a fast car

Didn't think the dvd was great TBH. Seen most of the stuff in TG already. (except for Sabine seemed to be "loose" driving the R8) Was at the mondeo comment though!!
