.....still use the technical rooms and individual rooms for specific cars?

been in technical room and cosworth room and only seem to be 3 users browsing in each room!

some good questions dont have that many replys?

normally had excellent information and discussions from the more technical users and tuners.

 

i dont know if im classed as a tunning/technical users but i only really use the general discussion

 

i would say your a technical user from reading your posts in previous topics.

do you only use gd cause its easier to stay in one room or because you dont want to get caught up in technical discussions?

 

i never go in the tech rooms for one simple reason................. i know nothing about the tech side of cars so i couldnt help anyone

 

same here but i still used to watch technical threads because the amount of info i learned from them. just a bit boring now gd is still the most used room and is full of dumb things people saw in tesco car parks and other pointless things to fill it up.

 

If you have a tec question you might as well put in GD to get an answer.I asked one in there yesterday that will be simple for a lot of peeps on here [not me] and it's had about 16 views.It's like pissing into the wind.

 

it will get moved as soon as the right person sees it, and also some questions can go for 3 pages which would defo get moved where people wont see it!

just because generally, i like to discuss and debate problems/questions, and not just answer them

 

fair enough but sometimes you get an answer than a different user may have a different answer and then you have a discussion. i only ask as the tech section topics dont have that many replies.

 

people are to lazy to post in the correct area's on pf which is shame because if the forum was used correctly people would find the tech posts a lot easierrather than sifting through ebay youtube linksto find them

I just use GD, get better tech answers here, quickly, than any other forum i know of.

When the question is quite obscure, quantity of people can be just as relevant as quality.

 

dont wanna sound moany but i think there should be one tech area... all cars in one tech room in other words

recently when certain mods were moving questions to tech Q+A etc it went toally tits up and was getting no replies.

as long as they stay in here its far easier.

would be no issues at all if the search function worked.

would rather have a decent load of answers on a thread surrounded by non-tech theads, than a tech question with hardly any views/replies surrounded by loads of similar ones....

 

Ive had a question on there since 20th december with no replies

The same on here to people seem to read it and reply but only look at it once
