Get ready to cut the fuck out your arches mate as they really are too wide and not a suitable offset.

if you know somebody with a machine shop you could get the inside of the wheel laithed down about 5mm & put 215-40 tyres on i reckon that would be ok but wouldnt be very good handling wheels but lots of people manage tho i suppose

offset is miles out and will drive like a pig, will worsen torque steer too. unless you get them machined! but they do look

You'd need to shave 10mm off the mounting face but even if that was doable you'd be left with an 8J wide rim sitting further inboard and it will almost certainly foul the spring platforms.

Honestly mate you'd do better sourcing a set of Mondeo 16's

i just bagged a brand new set for a steal mate... just wondered if they were worth fitting or passing on...??

think they stick out a bit in the pic, would be better if machined but as stated, dont want to foul on anything...
prob end up sticking the super t's back on...

Ive since sold it, radiator, engine mounts, starter motor, alternator, fuel pump, seat mount rusted through, sills got welded, battery tray, fuse box rotten etc etc... It was never ending when i had it, i enjoyed it and spent a fair bit on it but it was just too unreliable.

Sold it to a girl in Lancaster, ive since seen it for sale again, looked neglected in the pics! it certainely wasn't when i had it so they've let it go by the looks of it.

i got no worries having them machined, just wanted to know wot they might look like, theyre gonna stick out on any escort other than a cossie altho theres a saff down the road with a set on n they look perfect, not sticking out at all...

I do mate, its a shit chop, i couldnt keep them 16" or whatever they are and had to guess, and the back looks smaller but it isnt, its just skewed to a different angle slightly.
