bought one earlier for me the missis and kids

got couple kids games and wwf thingy too

played it for 30 mins boxing etc its ok but found it hard on the boxing hard to work it all out, overal not impressed yet

tennis ust seemed all moves the same to me, bowling same again not unless you have to pess butttons etc too?


are they good once get into em? im buying the wii play with extra remote as soon as argos has one in stock

mind you i think the signal between remote and machine is shite, when move the little arrow across screen if im not stood in direct path its ust terrible if im slightl;y off to left the pointer wont even move all way across the screen its like i ran off a mouse mat edge lol

it's a fooking great laugh after a few beers and you play the boxing, well all wii sports

resident evil 4 is awesome

mario and sonix olympics is good

the carnaval game is awesome, again even better when you've had a few drinks

marble madness is stupidly addictive

wii play is pretty rubbish, though what you expect for 2 quid

mario galaxy, i've only played once, though this is becuse the mrs has killed the 32" and 14 tv's 40" coming so will soon get back into it


there are sooooooooooo many good games, i think you just need to get into the mood,


and you cant compare it to the likes of the PS3 or xbox 360

wii tennis and bowling are brilliant! slight twist of the hand the wrong way and you're screwed! realistic enough for my liking!

as for tennis its not all the same. try swinging earlier or later and vary where the shot goes took me a while to realise you can change it about!

The 10 pin bowling in wii sports is brilliant,but dont buy the other 10 pin bowling game as its crap.
Lardypants,are you sure you have the reciever that goes on top of tv set up properly,as the controls are normally good.

i stuck the sensor bar on top of the tv nas said in the manual and just plugged it all in and switched on.
it asked weather the bar is ontop or underneith the tv

im upset to be honest, 259 quid and im not impressed with it, if i could take it back for a refund i would
but ive heard about toys r us returns there a fooking nightmare so im stuck with it

you buy wii play with a a controll (wiimote) and with wiiplay it's Ł2 more expensive

I think you're expecting too much from it, especially the sports. It definitely isn't meant to compete with the X-Box and PS3

Me and the missus love 'em but at the end of the days, the sports games are aimed at a massive age range audience, so they can't be too complicated for younger kids etc

I dont think they are meant to be ultra realistic, just good fun. It is a lot more fun after a couple of beers

Give it a chance, I'm sure you'll get to like it, and im sure you'll get more enjoyment out of it once the kids get hold of it

Oh, and, close your blinds if you dont want anyone to see you

i have to admit i think you abive are right, its a play thing gsmes console that you play for the crack or if you have family over or pissed etc, given the fact the kids wouldnt play it i couldnt see the point as id rather play a ps3 etc.

so for me its a NO but i can understand why others think its a right laugh

Boxing is toss

Wii Tennis and Wii Bowling are two of the finest video games EVER made in my opinion. SOOOO much fun. Easy to play but VERY hard to totally master. The control you can put on the shots on the Tennis and the Bowling STILL amazes me. STUNNING! and such a giggle t the same time

i've bought loads of games and tbh only ever play wii sports, play wii carnival, on the odd occasion i do play that, but scarface/godfather etc, cant take seriously, just want to perfect my curl action on bowling

The Wii absolutely rocks...

I chipped mine a few months back, so I can get to try games before I buy them

I quite like Wii play, how can you say that riding that cow that looks like its made of fabric not be fun. The shooting is cool as well..

I played Super Paper Mario for aaages, couldnt put it down, Metroid Prime 3 destruction is probably the most graphically impressive game at the mo on the Wii and also a good game..

Sonic & Mario Olympics is a good laugh as well, smarty pants is ok, but 2 MUST HAVE games on the Wii are Rayman Raving Rabbids 1 & 2, fucking hilarious!!!
