Gonna get me a dslr but gonna wait till the replacment for the 400d comes out early next year. Any reason why you chose the 350d over the 400d? Also what lenses do you have?

Try ebay mate, you maybe pleasently surprised. second hand ones seem to very reasonable at the minute. brand new your probs looking at about Ł350-Ł400 for the one ive just got

I chose the 350 on the advice that it is a decent first digi slr, and is good all round camera. ive only got a 75-300mm lens at the mo, going to get an 18-55mm as soon as possible. tbh im a novice, i dont really know which lenses i need

Got me a Canon 400D at the weekend.

Only got the 18-55 lens, but its a good starting point for a novice like me.

400D, bag and a 2gb Extreme III CF card for Ł472.

Just sent off for the Ł50 cashback on the camera.

Thats very reasonable pal, especially when you get the cash back, mines got a 1 gig card, i need a 18-55, and bag to keep it all in.
