depends how you look at it though, knowing they are under manned and struggle as they are I wouldnt expect them to come round in force if I phoned up and told them my mower had been nicked from the shed.

second time was when myu cossie was nicked,, i told them the cctv cameras to check and they never had time,, i told them it was nicked withing 3 hours,, they couldnt be arsed
these are times where police WAS needed and nothing done
ive been pulled by police LOADS of times,,, most times ive been sweet, one time i told a policeman i thought it was cause i wasnt wearing my seat belt,,, THE CUNT AFTER CHECKING ME OVER DONE ME FOR CONFESSING !!! as there was no other reason to nick me
though ive been pulled for going sideways and played dumb and got away with it,, ive LIED when ive been pulled for speeding and got police LIE to me to get me to confess and threaten me with reported and then going to court unless i stop lying
sorry but NO respect for them !!
now when bad things happen i get over it and wait for the good thing to come my way in return

not really followed all the text, read 1st page or so...
i lost my best mate, my prom date in high school and a damn good person to a drink driver with no insurance, so im going to have a bias view, however i dont think you should grass him to the police.
just find a way you can get it through to him what he is doing is wrong, tell his mum in an annoymous letter, do what you havr to do but try and stay outta of it name wise...may end up more hassle than its worth..
end of day, hes an inconsiderate pratt for driving again, and although he may not be a bad driver he's and iresponible one which is just as made Imo

This is simple really, tell him what you think, if he doesnt listen, then stick a note on his car a few weeks later saying that if he continues to drive the car, youll report him. Whether you actually do report him is upto you and only you can decide that, but even if you dont, it will probably make him think twice about driving it again.
To be honest though, if he's using it pretty often, it will only be a matter of time before the computer thing in the traffic cars pick up on his reg number when they drive past him.

I have a question for everyone who is so against grassing up criminals.....
If you saw someone breaking into your car or vandlising it, you chase them and they get away, would you call the cops?
If you and your mum/girlfriend/sister are walking through town and someone grabs their bag/purse and legs it and you chase them and they get away, would you call the cops?
If your mum/sister/or any friend or family member was knocked over by a hit and run driver, would you take their reg number and grass them up?
I assume none of you lot have had anything like this happen to them, or if you have, you just forgot about it as you dont grass on criminals right?
If you saw a stranger get assaulted in the street and they leg it, would you call the cops and 'grass' them up?

....if its family or friends i'd do what i could to catch the criminal..so yes i would involve the cops....if i saw someone assaulted and i couldnt help but saw the attacker i wouldnt go to the police.
