Got my new damper bracket yesterday and went to fit it


Probelm is, it replaces one of the rings on the exhaust housing but I cant undo the bolts enough to get the ring off, things like the oil feedway is in the way? Any ideas????

 

yes you have to remove them all and release the exst housing to get the bolts out!!!

how do ya release the exhuast houing, the fooker would not budge when i tried

 

Wack it with a hammer....... if that doesn't work get a bigger hammer

Ginge bring ya hammer with ya weds

 

Just loosen them all and twist the core around to enable you to get the bolts out! No need to remove it!! Give it a light tap with a hammer once they are all loose

 

ill "tap" it

i got a irish hammer if thats any good

 

ahh, twist it is a good idea spadge, but better remember to mark where to twist it back to lol
