Default Whats the best octane booster on the market?

That boosts it a couple of octane? Most only boost by "points" dont they? i.e, not even one full octane rating?

What you mention will be 0.1 increase - Say 98 to 98.1, often people don't realise that.
Toluene is one I'm aware of, but never played with it.

according to test apparantly they dont do anything, infact some of them actually decrease performance.

only certain way i would say is to buy race or AV feul.

yeah exactly! like millers only increases it by 3 points, making Opitmax 98.3, which has got to be pointless surely?

i did see some american stuff at TOTD that increased the ron rating by 1 whole octane number (i.e, 10 points)

Ryan - I used one 10+ years ok, and swear car was slower

Boxxer - Would only use similar for some cleaning benefit, and then only STP in a silver bottle as it works.

Chip knows a bit about Toluene I think, dunno if he's banned or text under name is a joke?

Won't make a blind bit of difference unless you've adaptive ECU mapping that can make the most of it.

Send the money to me - I'll tell you your car's running faster / better

nowt to do with ECU/fuel injection. Its for an engine on carbs, and more of a safety barrier if anything for track days, etc.
