JUST BOUGHT EVO8 FQ300 ,WHATS THE BEST £ FOR £ MODS
whats the best mods for 04 evo 8 fq300,for road use, ie ,intercoolers,bigger inj etc , would like around 400 bhp

We are close to being able to remap the standard ECU, which is great for mild power increases. Otherwise, an aftermarket ECU like the Apexi PowerFC is a great choice. Boost Controller and Exhaust/Filter upgrade would also be a good move.
You'll need a bigger turbo and injectors for 400bhp, but thats really pushing your luck on the standard engine, I've known a few to go pop at 400bhp.
Safer to aim for 360-370bhp IMO.

its already got a big bore ex and hard pipe kit,larger intercooler
not looked at ecu yet or filter

you need to go down the forged route realy for 400 bhp but you can get kits very cheap from the usa, infact its silly money (cheap) or get a sroker kit

Wee Kevs good mate definitley but i'd say extreme have more advanced technology and can do Ecu-Tec on site etc.... I also know Kev is stowed out the door just now with work.
