iv just been told not to play my ps2 games in my ps3 as it screws up the blu ray lens or something is this right ?

it is just a disk the same as ps3 disks or normal DVD's

 

Well as the PS3 has backward compatibility with most ps2 games, so play ps2 games as much as you want

 

is what i was thinking mate said you can play em just not all the time my thinking would be that if it does screw em up ya wouldnt play em at all but just wanted to check

to late anyway started a fresh game of san andreas

 

It will be fine, they wouldnt have put backward compatibility in otherwise!

 

60GB ones can play ps2 games, if there was any chance of fucking up your new purchase im sure it would come with a warning on the box or it would be plastered over the net.....
