Default Trye recommendations please.

Getting some new alloys very shortly.

Would be mainly for road use but will be venturing out on track next year.

Thought about Toyo R888's or Yokohama prada's, any advice graetly appreicated.

Cheers

Toyo have bought out a new tyre called the Toyo Proxie 4. It suppost to a mixture of the R888's and TR1's and suppost to good in the wet and dry.

I haven't tried them, but they may be worth a shot if your looking at Yokohama's and Toyo's.

I have just fitted a set of GSD3 to the front of an astra, VERY unimpressed, hope they get better as they are not a patch on the Uniroyal Rainsport 1 they replaced.
I had GSD3 on a mondy years back and all developed sidewall bulges which is VERY COMMON with these tyres, never had it on any other tyre in 25 years!!
