What about maintenance of the pump's and maintenance in general?

overkill on a road car imo


they prevent oil starvation so unless your doing the shopping for m schumacher i wouldnt bother

A mate of mine is fitting one to his zetec and he said that the zetec oil pump internals break up at high rev

I think AustinW knows more about this

My Dax will be 'mostly' a road car, If I wanted the type of chassis I have I needed one for sump clearance over the speed humps near where I live

I got a good deal on mine but you are still way over a grand for a pace jobi with good quality tank, filter head and fittings etc (real tears )

also worth noting bit more of a pain when you do an oil change ,takes longer to prime system if all your stuff in the boot
