Just been to look at a 2wd saph for a mate of mine, looked lovely in the pics in magenta, escos wheels,leather was top money at £6500 tho.

When i spoke to him he assured me it was in "stunning" condition and well worth a look.

Luckily we didnt travel far because stunning it certainly was but in a bad way. Not worth a penny over 3500 and thats being generous.

Why do people lie on car adverts, do they not think people will look?!!!

I agree with Alps, looked at a white Saff once, nice engine etc, said it was 350BHP.

It was deffo NOT 350BHP more like 300BHP and it had a full respray - the guy genuinley thought it was stunning but the paint had runs and over spray everywhere, I said you need to take this back to the spray shop mate

Felt a bit sorry for him TBH as he spent loads on the respray

The first Saph I looked at was a complete and utter fucking dog! I travelled to fucking staffordshire from the south coast to see it as like your man, the guy assured me it was stunning and even in the pics he sent the leather was lovely etc etc!

Needless to say when I got there the car was a fucking wreck! The cheeky little cunt had swapped the wheels back to standard 2wd wheels thinking I wouldn't notice the 17'' Imola's had gone! and the leather he sent me a picture of was from a different fucking car!

This one had a ripped interior and only had leather seats, the rest was all cloth spec, every door had a dent in it, and I swear there was only 2 useable gears in the fucking box!

The cheeky cunt then said make me an offer, he was a right fucking pikey, he'd dropped from 4k to 3k over the phone so I told him I was being generous in offering a grand and that he was lucky I didn't twat him for lying!

The bloody pikey had the cheek to call me a messer so I said fuck all to him but walked away, got in my car and drive home!

I remember looking at 4x4 Saphs the first time I went Cossie shopping..

In one weekend - looking for standard 70k 4x4's with £6k to spend - I went to Bristol, Aylesbury, Luton, High Wycombe, Bolton and Derby.

The one in Derby was my fav... a standard 60k car for £5500- never touched.... shame when the guy removed all the nice bits he didn't put it back together properly AND didn't take all the reciepts out of the history.. or I might have been fooled- if it wasn't rotten. The rest were just as shite as fook and not one worth over £4500 and this was 3 years ago now.

2 weeks later I got a 110k one which was an extreemly well looked after car, yes it had paint and yes it had an engine rebuild etc.. but it actually made the other cars I looked at seem even wanker... 3 years later and the car still runs and drives lovely with an NMS gunship and the only problem is its my mates now LOL.

 

Staffi, i have been looking at your advert and pics for my self for the last couple of weeks and absolutely love your car, but cant justify to the mrs having a concours 500,a focus RS and a concours saph!!

Plus i cant afford it! It is worth every penny of what your asking tho... My mate is after one tho...Fancy an E36 M3 Evo Convertible in Part Ex?!!

Like i said im just glad we didnt travel a long way and waste petrol money on such a badly misdescribed Car. My fave part was the fuel pressure regulater not attached to anything and bouncing off the cambelt!!!!!
