Toyo PX4? don't know if you can get them in 45 profile but with the 195/50's i have they seem to be good in the wet and dry.

mind you i don't have 250+bhp

there was a review in one of the car mags recently (think it was EVO) of most of the "premium" tyres and their performance in various different areas. the overall winner, was the new GoodYear Eagle F1 "Asymetric". it's very new and not many people stock them yet, so you may have to argue with your local tyre place to ring up for a quote/stockcheck but they're the same price as the regular F1 GSD3s.

ive used GSD3s in the past and CANNOT fault them, and these new asymetrics are supposed to be even better, especially in the wet!

Don't think they're doing the Asymmetrics in that small a size(15") - only maybe the old GSD 3 pattern

Best = Eagle F1
Best Budget = Federal SS595 (these are shockingly good)

drop the comps off to be refurbed today so thought i best get on the case

Dave moore runs them on his xr2 as a wet tyre i think, and said they are a very good tyre, just not really heard of on the road but quite big in motorsport

Stay WELL clear of Eagle F1's

Its well known that they have been known to de laminate (sp)

It happened to a fron tyre on a mates E36 M3 at over 150mph, lucky for him the tyre still stayed inflated.

Several scooby owners have had troubles too and I very much doubt they are the only ones.

New F1 should be a lot better but I wouldn't trust them after that incident.

Those Rainsports or whatever they are called seem to be quite rated by some of the nova guys I know Marc.
