Your car made more power at the wheels mate....

At all 4 wheels....

So what difference does it make if its 4wd.....cause it has more power at the wheels...

Normally 2wd make more at wheels due to less loss's etc....but at the wheels figures are at the wheels figures....so the fact mine is 2wd has no meaning on the arguement....

This just show's me how shite DD rollers are LOL and how mike r reckons they are consistant in power readings LOL....

corners are where it matters.

Gatecrasher

i thought that too,but as the graph shows,it was very lean at the top for the afr, hence a bit more power.

well....thats all i can come up with.

good bhp / wheel for spec.

have you got the boost graph?

Who mapped it? as fueling isn't good at all in the mid range. (top end must be the inj's maxxed out.)

Let the arguing commence.

Dave

Heres my observations on the graph,
The Intake temp has over corrected this is a typical dyno dynamics action they say place the temp prob in the airfilter but this makes it correct upward, I tested this a while ago and 15c added 2.5% to the total power yours has corrected 42c so the correction is very large,
On the lambda reading sometimes this can be wrong if they have used a short pipe in the tail pipe and you have a small baffle tube in the back box then pulls in air which then will show lean, This could be your problem but I would get this checked,
This is not a dig just a highlight of what I have found using these rollers.

Dan, I mapped it.

Dave, you need to turn the boost down or get it back to me for a check up. The AFR is too rich midrange and leaning off quickly at top end. This indicates to me that you are running over the 3 bar map sensor threshold.

For now make sure its holding no more than around 28psi, but I'd advise another check over since you've had the turbo rebuilt.

They are great Rollers but the way you are told to run them is place the air temp probe in the air filter so it measures intake temp and corrects the power,
But in practice this gives engines with hot air intake more power but in practice this is not the case as the temp should be corrected for cell temp not air filter temp,
Whenever I run on these RR I have the air temp probe hanging in the cell so it corrects for cell temp.

I would say a easy yes above 400hp and looking at the boost graph you do need the fueling sorting and boost .

Dave,

Seriously Dave, from mapping your car and knowing that the engine can out run the greys when running over 28psi, I think a good estimate of engine power is around 420bhp @ 28psi.

Unless its an error in the exhaust sampling, the AFR is leaning off quickly as the revs rise, indicating that you have reached the maximum duration time of the greys. As said for now turn the boost down to no higher than 28psi, as this is the maximum I was able to map the car to. Above 28psi it started to lean off after 5500rpm.

If you're interested I can simply remap the car on some 750cc injectors and a 5 bar map sensor if you want to ensure reliability at higher boost levels.

Pete

You will find the evo's have a slightly better airfilter postion and the temp wont be as high so the correction wont be, But you can see this on the graph.

Mark
