Tools>Internet Options>Delete Browsing history in IE7, then pick what you want to delete - temp files, cookies, browsing history, passwords, forms etc..

Cookies and password will affect forums, in that you will need to re-login.

If not IE7, then tell us what browser you're using.

BOWser that is

Forget what he said just download this http://filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

Install it, double click on the icon when its installed, then bottom right it says run cleaner, this will probably take at least 5mins since you havent done this before OR ran this cleaner which will basically delete all the crap of your pc and all the files that are on the pc that are no longer in use or needed, thus giving you loads more hard drive space if you want to know exactly what it deletes have a read on that site above.

Its superb every pc should come installed with it

Well he wanted his internet history clearing, you lot got him downloading a third party program and a new browser

If its IE 7, click the Tools button on your toolbar and select the first option, Delete Browsing History.

If its Firefox, press Ctrl+Shift+Delete. This will clear all Private data with the Firefox browser.

CCleaner is goo, but it does a heck of a lot more than clean your web browsing history and he didn't say he wanted to do that

Cheers

I told him to look on the site for what exactly it deletes but it shouldnt be an issue, ccleaner doesnt delete anything anyone would want or have a use for

to remove previous searches in google (or any other text entry box), double click in the text box and the list will pop up. then, hover over the entries you want to delete and press the 'delete' key (not backspace)
