Default Turbo timer info

As above im looking for a bit of info on getting a turbo timer for my focus ST. Made a few inquiries around and i've heard they cant be fitted to them. Since i aint got a clue about this was wondering has anyone on here seen one in an ST or even fitted one

i would say they could, as long as you are using an aftermarket security system, but i cant see it working particularly well with the OE ford set up.

there would be a way to wire it but wud take a leccy willing to sus it out and some thinking. all it really needs is for the central locking unit not to see the ignition which is easy normally but not normally the case with factory alarms as said.

think all the st's come with a cat 1 system!

immobiliser will be built into the eco so have no idea if/how you can do this.

more to the point, why?
at the end of the day it's got three years warrenty, so it's not your prob if the turbo goes! unless you intend keeping it forever?

its not down to the immobiliser cos its just the chip in the key/ecu lock so if your cars running and you remove the chip with the key stil switched on it wont stop running, its only when the chip is moved away from the reader ring the immob arms. its more to do with being able to remote lock the car with the engine running.
