SIGNED OFF WORK..HELP!!!!!!
Severed 2 tendons in my hand last week at work.
Had an operation on wednesday and am now in a cast.
Been told i can,t work for 6 weeks and can,t drive for 2 months.
Any suggestions as to what the fuck i do for this lengh of time.??????
P.S: I only have the use of 1 hand.

Was my fault i,m affraid.
Was moving this top section of my tool box when it slipped and chopped my finger.
Money is not a problem as i have somey tucked away for a rainy day.
My only problem is bordem.
P.S: I do have SKY but there,s so much shit on.
Am currently watching A CAR IS BORN for the 3rd time on discovery.

I know how you feel!
I cut my ulnar artery and damaged 2 tendons in 2005.
Had a cast on for 6 weeks, only time it came off was for physio.
I watched tv and went on the net when I was off, and my wife dealt with my newborn.
hope you still have finger movement, if not it will come back through time. I felt that my fingers would stay in one place forever, but after perserverance at physio it all came back
best of luck with the recovery

if you look very carefully, you'll spot that he's actually using some granada parts there
i did ask him about it when we met and he said there were a shed load of grany bits and bobs there as well so they wanted it to look like they'd been doing some work

i was off work for 9 months and they said i could not drive for 3 months

i was off a few years back after having an opperation, in totla i was off work for about 7 weeks,you will be amazed how you get used to the time off,unfortunately you will also be pissed off when you have to go back aswell.
