Kerbed :@:@:@
Last night i managed to kerb the near side front wheel .
Pissed off does not descirbe how I felt when it happened. It was kerbed anyway but thats not the point. I touched it up today with some T-Cut and silver spray paint i had and it does look a lot better. I think though, it's time for a refurb. All my other alloys are fine so just want that one done.
I'm in north london and so does anyone know of anywhere that can do this for me and how much I am likely to spend in getting it done?
Thanks

had a few sets of wheels done here -

Very good workmanship, Would recommend getting 2 wheels done (On the same side) rather than just one so they look balanced.

right heres the pics.
Also, I've seen a lot of people do DIY repair jobs on their alloys and they have come out pretty good and I;m wondering whether I should consider trying to do this myself. The biggest issue will be finding the correct colour match for the alloy and my alloys are made by a company called A-Tek which I cannot find a site for nor very many places, or at all, who stock them or deal with them.
What you guys think?

If it was mine think id flat back the wheel with some wet and dry and give it a spray, All depends how confident you are with a can of paint...
Im in the process of doing these for a mate -
From these -
To this (Yes I know the tyre and valve are silver but this one needs a new tyre anyway ) -
One on left in Primer and one on right in 3rd coat of silver... Will need another coat of silver before flatting back and lacquer going on.

thing is the only thing I would consider doing is touching up the area in question with some wet and dry then paint and then apply compound to the area to "blend in"
I've seen some alloy wheel repair kits but for that price might as well give BJV a visit
