Default Fitting a chip is this right? pic inside

Got my l8 ecu, just tryed to fit the chip from msd and it sits higher up and the lid wont close,the chip i took out never had the little bit of board underneath it like the new chip,any ideas?

Thats how i fitted my identical msd chip to my l6 ecu and its all working,although i did not have problems with the lid not closing.

You have to trim the top two corners off the baby board and fit it underneath the alloy lugs...
