ps: hes best mate is boxing at york hall (bethnal green) on wednesday for a title fight, hes give us free tickets due to robbing us in front of whitnesses

he recons its gonna be a good fight too

oh and a mate of mine is also boxing there that night i belive,,, what a bonus


who ever mentioned about the boxers thing,, tis true hes a strong fucker and i wont be sparing with him as hes fucking fast ,,,,,, I was holding the pads and he STILL managed to hit me and make me wanna cry

tbh i aint got a clue,my mate i cant say on the net as hes a shy chappy or sorts

i got a few mates or people i knew/grew up with who are either boxers/ kick boxers or even one of em is tying to get into cage fighting

im putting it down to mid life crisis as i also feel like i need to buy a porsche

370 kg? I'm suprised your gym has that many weights Ginge,judging from there selection of dumbells..lol

on a entirely differnt note ,did you get those DVD'S yet?

I think its cos people find it hard to compare

If its a single squat to legs parallel then everyone can compare and understand. I dont have a funny inclined leg press machine so I have no idea. I'm sure he is strong otherwise u wouldn't be impressed. I just have no idea exactly how strong

I agree squats are THE single best exercise there is and doing them properly and heavy is way harder than leg pressing.

My old leg workout used to be heavy squats followed by high rep leg presses (circa 30+reps with 200kg). I have to add this was 10 years ago

Some people are a lot stonger than they look/their weight would suggest. I can imagine that Ginge's friend is very strong

EDITED TO SAY: Ginge - people will always be sceptical because we've all seen the losers either squating/leg pressing/benchpressing etc and only moving the weight 2inches and then claiming they are lifting silly weights.

yeah got the dvds

the dumbels are not big but still more than i can curl

ive fucked my shoulder this morning doing flys incline working on em with the 38's so ill be off for a week i guess

we got plenty of 20kg plates though,,, well most the girls in the gym dont use em

yeah,,, infact just the last 2 inchs to touch your chest when pressing is the REAL struggle people cant do !

i find i can press 55kg each side but the last bit to go to my chest and i can get it back up no matter how much i push

same with fly's. people bending there elbows then claiming they aint when YOU can see they are
