Default universal lambda sensor

hi all, has anyone used the universal lambda sensor , you just have to say weather its 2,3, 4, wire and make of car, i also read they can be fucked after just 30,000 miles

same as a normal one tbh, just you pin it out an fit a multi connecto block DO NOT SOLDIER THE SENSOR !!!

i sell loads at work,,, though if im honest we can have issues with them hence why i went for a OEM spec one for the dog

they aint much cheeper tbh, think most are around the 60 quid mark adn then universals are arouund 50ish

oh and you should take em out to clean them when you can and it helps em live longer,, though they never tell you that

it can damage the sensor

the block comes with the kit though

Lambda sensors are only rated to 60,000 miles anyway (so the manufacturers say). Be careful using a universal 1 as they aren't always correct for application. Imo see if someone like NGK or Fuel Parts list a direct replacement first.

ive had far too much trouble with universal sensors will only ever use oe stuff now especially on newer stuff (obviously not wideband) never had any probs soldering tbh. as said for the price difference you may aswel get the proper one
