That's your first problem, you fail to see... blinkered by windoz crap
I read it on a pc site somewhere couple weeks ago, when I find it again I'll point you to what they wrote. Deffo not deluded, I work with both and I know which one I chose to spend my money on.
How exactly am I blinkered by Windows crap My AMD64 laptop runs Ubuntu Linux 64, My Dual Processor Opteron64 desktop runs Ubuntu 64, My Via-ITX Mailserver runs FreeBSD and my media centre runs Slackware, I also own a Dual Processor G4 Mac which is running Yellow Dog Linux... The only Windows PC I own is my daughers (she's a rebel)
I asked for evidence to support the claim made and this im yet to see, im not saying your wrong... as you correctly stated I fail to see how a £500 Mac can run Windows better than a £500 dell pc, pick any amount of money, there is no way a Mac can run Windows better than a similar priced PC on the same x86 architecture simply because the macs are over priced.... you pay for the kewlness

Oh, I'm pretty sure Bootcamp is available with all the new Macs another big deal for Mac is that they sold 2 million copies of the new OS X in it's first weekend.
Ohh Im aware that Apple is on the up in the desktop market, but to do so they have lost much of their traditional market.. lets be realistic here to make market place on the desktop Apple has to support another product to sell increasing volumes which shows clearly that they are dependent upon Windows as much as Dell for marketplace share, which is a shame as OSX is probably the best product Apple has at the moment and allowing Windows to be used on it is short sighted as it will simply keep people on the Microsoft platform rather than tempt them to use OSX.

Statically though there are more users globally running Windows2000 than OSX which says exactly how much of the market Apple have, and in fact they only have a slightly larger desktop market than Linux which says a great deal considering Apple actively promote and advertise the product have have them in multiple stores, unlike Linux systems.
This information can be seen here
When you start to consider the server market which is controlled by Linux systems running Apache and the ever increasing server farms used for multimedia rendering with companys such as Dreamworks noticeably abandoning Apple for Linux - a market apple used to own.. you can clearly see that in the grand scale of things Apple have a very very small but damn kewl market for the image concious consumer.

Like everyone here or around the world, we'll always have two different minds on what we think is better. So for me, I'll stick my Apple, you can stick with your Microsoft and well both get occasional no server found on Pf

OSX is vastly better than Microsoft Windows and in so many ways however they have something in common in that both situations the companys taking credit for them did not actually write the base.

OSX base is called Darwin and is composed of code developed by Apple along with code derived from NEXTSTEP, as well as from FreeBSD, its actually OpenSource and can be downloaded for nothing.
I do find it ironic that without FreeBSD, the free software foundation and Linux - OSX would simply not exist.
http://developer.apple.com/opensource/index.html

The base of Windows Vista and XP is the NT kernal (New Technology)
The main architect of the system was Dave Cutler the chief architects of VMS at Digital Equipment Corporation. Microsoft hired him in 1988 to create a portable version of Microsofts/IBM's OS/2 project, but Cutler created a completely new system instead. Cutler had been developing a follow-on to VMS at DEC called Mica, and when DEC dropped the project he brought the expertise and some engineers with him to Microsoft, he brought Mica's code to Microsoft and they sued. Microsoft eventually paid $150 million U.S.

Guess both are thieves.

I would like nothing more than Apple to bring Microsoft to its knee's however to do this they would have to stop locking consumers into the brands and market their kewlness more agressively.. some of the stuff is simply over priced for what it is unless you have the need to be kewl.

The worst two groups or computer users are Linux users like myself who think opensource is the answer to everything and mac users who think that the products are good value for money, nobody can deny the quality or the kewlness... but in the grand scale of thing many people do not want to pay double the price for a anodized blender, touch screen mobile phone, gold plated screwdriver simply because in their minds its a tool, something which they could not care less about and just want to use.

Had a play with it in the O2 shop today.....looks smart!

Same width and length as my XDA Orbit, but thinner, looks a bit more bling too I think

. I must admit though, I really couldn't live without the built in GPS my XDA has with tomtom, just be a nightmare having to use a bluetooth/standalone gps. The ability to run any apps designed for WM is also great and something I couldn't do without on the iphone.

All the XDA needs is a decent browser like the iphone has as opposed to the WM Internet Explorer.

Yeah, been a while, hope your doing well

On my brief play with the iphone it seemed that on opening a large html page, it was easier to navigate through, being able to flick straight to the bottom for example, where as on WM IE you have to scroll through, and it often struggles to do this smoothly. Just seemed to be easier/quicker to navigate

Is WM6 worth upgrading to on my orbit from WM5? Might make a bit of a difference?

Fil - there are 2 downloads :

opera-mini-advanced.jad
opera-mini-advanced.jar

I take it that they're Java files? Do we download and run both of them?

Also it doesnt have the T Mobile Vario 3 or any HTC device in the device list? What did you choose? I am assuming it was the T-Mobile Vario?
